What types of photography services do you offer?

At Nicky Scott Photography, we specialize in real estate photography, small weddings, headshots, family portraits, graduation photos, baptisms, and more. If you have a specific event or session in mind, feel free to reach out!

How do I book a session?

You can book a session by calling us at 830-992-8764 or book directly online with our easy tu use "Book Now" section. 

How far in advance should I book my session?

For weddings and large events, we recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance to secure your date. For smaller sessions like headshots or family portraits, we recommend booking 2-4 weeks ahead. However, we do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings when possible.

What should I wear for my photo session?

We recommend wearing something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. For family and group portraits, coordinating colors (but not necessarily matching) work well. Avoid busy patterns that can distract from faces.

What is your pricing structure?

Our pricing varies based on the type of session. For detailed pricing information, please visit our pricing page or contact us for a custom quote. We offer flexible packages to suit various needs and budgets.

Do you offer photo retouching?

Yes, all of our packages include basic retouching such as color correction, exposure adjustments, and minor touch-ups. For more extensive editing (e.g., removing objects, detailed skin retouching),  which is all inclusive in your package.

How long does it take to receive my photos?

For most sessions, you can expect to receive your edited photos within 1-3 weeks. For larger events like weddings, the turnaround time is typically 4-6 weeks. If you need the photos sooner, let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate rush requests.

How will I receive my photos?

ā€‹Your photos will be delivered via a private, online gallery. From there, you can download high-resolution images or order prints. If you prefer USB delivery or another format, we’re happy to discuss other options.

Do you travel for shoots?

Yes, we are available for travel! For locations outside of Gillespie County and surrounding areas, additional travel fees may apply. Please contact us to discuss travel arrangements for your session or event.

How can I prepare for my session?

We’ll guide you through everything! Prior to your session, we’ll send a checklist with tips on what to wear, how to pose, and any other specific preparation suggestions. We also offer consultations if you’d like more guidance beforehand.

Can I bring my pet to the session?

Absolutely! Pets are part of the family, and we love including them in your photos. Just let us know ahead of time so we can plan the session accordingly.
